Mobile Physical Therapy Practice Software for PTs Who Travel
Your office is your car. Your schedule is a route. The patient is wherever they are: at home, at the gym, at the job site, in a hotel between flights. Most EMRs assume you walk to a desktop between appointments. You don't. You need a system that lives on your phone, knows where you're going next, and doesn't make you re-enter anything you already typed. PtEverywhere is the practice management platform for mobile PTs who run their business between visits.
Is This You?
- No fixed clinic: you travel to patients' homes, offices, gyms, or rehab settings
- Cash-pay, hybrid, or concierge billing. What defines you is the route, not the payment model
- Mileage is a real expense and a real tax line
- "Where am I going next?" is a question you ask multiple times a day
- You're charting between appointments, in the car, or right after, not at a desk
What the Day Actually Looks Like
Mobile PT lives on logistics. A late patient becomes a late afternoon. A wrong address becomes 20 minutes of margin lost. A forgotten copy of an intake form becomes a session you treat without it. The software either earns its keep by making the route easier, or it gets in the way.
PtEverywhere is built around the mobile reality:
One-tap map launch
Tap or press the patient on your schedule, and your favorite maps app opens with the address loaded. No copy-paste, no toggling between apps in a parking lot. Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, whichever you use.
A mileage log inside the schedule
Every visit carries its address, and you or your admin record the distance against it. One mileage log for tax time, expense reports, or client reimbursement, with no separate app.
Full mobile app, not a mobile-shrunk website
iOS and Android. Scheduling, charting, intake, payments, messaging, and HEP all work on your phone. The dashboards resize properly so you can check today's volume between visits.
AI Scribe in your pocket
This is the feature mobile PTs tell us changed their week. Record the whole session inside the mobile app and the AI Scribe turns it into a structured note, or dictate the note out loud while you drive to the next visit. Either way, charting is done before you arrive at the next address. No laptop, no end-of-day backlog, no notes piled up for Sunday afternoon. Check-in auto-creates the note and attaches it to the patient, so the AI has the right record to fill.
Payment at the visit
Card on file, tap-to-pay, or a payment link sent through the portal. Patients pay before you pull out of the driveway. Recurring memberships, packages, and superbills all run from your phone.
Telehealth when you can't be there
Browser-based video in the patient portal and full telehealth in the mobile app. Useful for between-visit check-ins, follow-ups that don't justify a drive, or the days when the patient is traveling. No plug-ins, no Zoom links, no separate logins for the patient.
A patient portal patients actually use
Online booking, intake forms, HEP, secure messaging, and document sharing. They self-book the slot, fill out the form before you arrive, and message you between visits, so your driving time is driving, not scheduling.
Dashboards that travel with you
Revenue, upcoming auto-pays, package status, and productivity, all on the phone. You don't need to wait until you're home to know how the week's tracking.
Hybrid Model? Concierge? Read This Too.
Mobile and concierge overlap heavily. A lot of concierge practices go to the patient. If membership pricing is core to your model, the Concierge PT page covers the experience and retention side of the equation. If you take insurance for some visits, the Hybrid Clinics page covers the RCM side. Mobile is about the operational shape of the day; the other pages cover the revenue model layered on top.
Who Runs This Model?
Mobile PT is most common in geriatric care, pediatric early intervention, post-op recovery, and neurologic rehab: patients for whom getting to a clinic is the hardest part of treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I run the entire practice from my phone?
Yes. Scheduling, charting with AI voice-to-text, payment collection, and patient messaging all work from the iOS and Android app. There's no desktop-only admin screen; everything is accessible on the phone you already carry.
How does the mileage log work?
Each appointment has an address, and the therapist or admin enters the distance for the trip against that visit. PtEverywhere does not measure the drive for you. At the end of the week, export the mileage log for IRS reimbursement or tax filing, so the record lives with the schedule instead of in a separate spreadsheet.
Can I take payment on-site at the patient's home?
Yes. Tap to pay, card-on-file charge, or send a payment link the patient can complete before you arrive. Packages and memberships are charged automatically so you never have to ask for money at the door.
Does the AI Scribe work without a strong connection?
The AI Scribe uses voice recording that syncs and processes when you're back on a reliable connection. Notes can be started offline and completed once connected, useful when you're between stops in a low-signal area.
What about liability and consent for home visits?
Digital intake and consent forms are sent to patients before the first visit and completed in the patient portal. No paper, no in-person signature required. Completed consents are stored in the chart automatically.
